ooohhh! Nice one Clam! And very tempting unfortunately (or fortunately ) I am currently pursuing a Sankyo Fever Queen here locally

sankyo pachinko fever queen pinballl / slot rare - $200 obo (dallas/hurst)

According to pachimono.com that is a Daiichi appropriately called King Tank, the center reminds me of the Vicky Chance,
will be interesting to see how much it goes for, sometimes it seems like those older machines end up selling for a lot more in Japan than here in the states

one of these days I'm going to brake that YJA barrier
    Thanks for sharing!

It's a real shame these older Daiichi's on YJP seem to have all aged so badly.

King Tank 2 is another in this series, and check it's original colors (when kept out of the sun):

    Wow! Shocking!

I thought that picture was of a later version, what a shame , as a former picture framer, I know all about the devastating effects of direct (and strong indirect ) sunlight
on colors and images so I keep mine well shaded at all times

I am a former Picture Framer as well. What a small world.

In my career as a picture framer I had the honor of working on some very expensive original pieces by Ansel Adams, Picasso, and Jean Duffy. Talk about being nervous!!! Joan Kroc was one of our regular customers and she collected original works.

Very neat Jeff! I would have been quite nervous as well! especially with the picasso!
I guess the most rare piece I ever framed was a graduation portrait of a student painted by Norman Rockwell that was commissioned by a local family.

after that I did several other things including sign making ,bartending, ceramics, and finally settled on faux finishes, plasters and decorative painting (been at that now about 14 years)
its a blast to work in really beautiful homes, but the actual labor involved can sometimes be brutal

Looks to be a little over $100 US dollars, bet the fading had a bit to do with that outcome
