aladdin master A- type

I have just gotten a Aladdin Master machine without keys. I can get the door open but do not have the key to reset the machine. can anyone help out there?

you can replace the odds key lock with an on/off switch

Mod might wana move this to the Pachislo sectino..

if your missing the key its going to be the easiest to remove the key lock and replace it with a toggle switch.. then you can do a reset easy..

you should be able to get a toggle from Radio shack.. take the key switch lock out and put a toggle in its place.. there are only two wires inside attached to the key switch..

OK, i installed the toggle switch and reset the machine. everything works except i cannot change the odds. they are set at a 4. also the stop buttons don't work. the reel goes about a minute and stops and pays if needed. any ideas?

It looks like everything is working except the reel stops. I have checked and rechecked the connections with no luck. anyone have any ideas?

​I have some ideas but first answer me this. Does the motherboard have led's that light up when you push a stop button? Or any other button, such as the bet button or the spin lever.

No, nothing lights up

Did you check the connection from the stopboard to the motherboard?

If you have checked the connections and you say they are good, then you have a little work ahead of you.

You are going to have to check the connections with a Multi-tester. I'd start with the connection for the stop buttons, on the door. See if you have any voltage there. If so, push a stop button and see if the voltage changes. If it does, then we know the buttons are working.

So now we will move to the stopboard. VINTAGE.JPG

8=ground, 1=power, 5,6&7= stop buttons. Test these to see if the motherboard is sending voltage to the stopboard and if there is voltage for the stop buttons. If so then your stopboard is bad. If not then one of your connections is bad at the stopboard or motherboard. Or it could be the wiring harness itself. With your multi-tester you can check the continuity of the wires in the wiring harness.

As I said you have a little work ahead of you.

My problem is the fuse on the stop board. does anyone have a schematic to help me track down the short.
