    Default Need Input Please.

I'am going to look at this Pachinko machine and really don't know anything about Pachinko's. What do I need to know or look for? Other than just if it works. Or is this game even worth getting?

    Thanks, Wayne-Ooo

If you find they are asking too much $$ for you, I'd be interested.

I was struggling to find info on this one, but I think I've managed to identify it, it looks very much like this 2002 Taiyo Elec model called " Hit It Hit It Janshi CR" at least thats what google translate calls it

It's the 2nd pachinko down on this link:

    Google Translate

    Original link: 2002年 ƒ‘ƒƒ‚製“œƒ‘ƒƒ‚ƒƒ‘ƒ‚ƒ*ƒƒ‚ƒ の‚‚ƒƒ‚ƒƒƒ‚製“ƒ…*‚‚ƒˆ

I also found the name "Sparrow Loyal Retainer" in our Research Centre, but the link isn't working

So I'm not sure what name is may be known to members, in order to search PT forums ?

Sorry I can't offer an opinion on gameplay or value as it isn't one ever owned or played, but hopefully someone here will know it and offer advice

I think I may have some more info on the model, I've seen it referred to as 'Strike Strike Sparrow' and 'Strike Strike Mahjong'

    Maturi

    Taiyo Elec 'Maturi' Frame Gamelist

and here are the search results purely for 'Maturi' in Pachinko forums:

    PachiTalk

Hopefully this will give enough info to help you search the forums for reviews

I'am going to look at it, in a few hours, when the guy gets home from work. He says it works great, but that he only has 10 balls. So I guess I can figure that into making an offer. I don't know how many balls you need, but I'am guessing it's like a Pachislo and you would need a minimum of 500. I don't see how you could enjoy playing it with only 10 balls, guess that's why he selling it.

popping in with yet another link, apologies I seem to be queen of the links today

this is a link to some Pachinko FAQs from our research centre, if you are new to pachinkos in general then you may find some of the items helpful, particularly the Modern Day Operation and the Pachinko Set up, etc

500 would be an absolute minimum, but, like most moderns, to avoid refilling the hopper like a mad man, you will want around 2000 balls to really play this one during a fever round.

I'd like to thank everyone for their contribution to this post. Not knowing anything about Pachinko's, I learned a lot in just a few days.

    Hanabi,
The one link you provided, that gave me 24 different posts, was GREAT! There was a lot of information that really helped me.

I met with the Seller and He was asking $150 for the machine. It had been sitting in his garage for a while and it was really dusty. Was missing the front glass, no key for the door lock and only had 6 balls. He powered it up and everything worked, (using only 6 balls). So, using the information, You all provided me with, and my bargaining skills I got it for $75, a decent price, I thought.

Got it home and cleaned it up, got some acrylic plexiglas for the door, de-pinned the lock and made a key for it and ordered some balls.

Again, I'd just like to say THANK YOU! Here's some pictures of it all cleaned up.

    Congratulations!!

Sounds like you got it for a bargain price, great negotiating skills to get 50% off asking price

Now I guess you just need some extra pachinko balls so you can put this one through it's paces properly

I converted the machine to a cyclic machine. The wife and our grandson like not having to worry about moving balls. The lost balls now return to the top shooter tray. I can fill the hopper and balls are payed out, but if the hopper goes empty, the machine plays the same, whether the hopper is empty or full.

I also built a cabinet for it. I used several ideas that other members have used. No need to open the machine, with the built in tray on the front of the cabinet, to refill the hopper. Being that the machine is all enclosed now, I cut a hole in the back and put a wire mesh screen over it to help deal with any heat issues that may occur. Painted everything to match the machine colors.

Thanks again for all the good information, this site and it's Members provide.

    Here's some pictures.
