Good Luck with it. These machine are built tough. Hopefully everything will be up and running soon.

Well, to me, it sounds like you need to do a "hard reset" as Card Shark and Hanabi also suggested.

    1) With the machine OFF, turn the reset key to the right.
    2) Turn the machine on.
    3) Set your odds (1-6).
    4) Hold down on the spin lever.
    5) Turn reset key to the left.

IMPORTANT: When you are doing step 5, you should hear the coin mechanism make a "click" sound. If you don't, the machine did not reset.

I noticed your "soft reset" button is missing, next to the keyed reset. I believe that's the button you use to set your odds. Hanabi.jpg

As far as tokens, YOUR GOING TO NEED SOME!, so get those ordered NOW! The machine should reset without any tokens, but you can't play it without tokens.
Don't substitute, using other coins, YOU ARE JUST ASKING FOR MORE PROBLEMS!

I did do a hard reset, you say set you odds after I turn the machine back on but I get no led display to even show 1-6.I get no lights in the reels or buttons or even the ones on each side of the reels. The button that you see is missing is really there but rewired to behind the machine, but it does work because a led light will light up on the processor when I press it.Just like all the other led lights will light up too when I press a button.what does the (mod) led stand for?

The only lights that turn on are the floresant lights in front.

Did you have a chance to test the machine before buying it? I am sure it will be an easy fix. Just curious if the problem has occurred after it being transported or not.

Why is the reset button on the back of the machine? anyway that should be the button to change the odds. You press it to change from 1 to 6 on the led display inside the front door or on a display outside on front door .Then push spin knob and turn key to left. Machine should reboot.

No I did not try it before I took it.As far as I'm concerned the guy lied to me and now I own a big glorified piggy bank pieace of crap.I don't have a led display on inside of the door I got a reset button that is on the door behind the led display but no led display inside the door.I get NO display at all ..nothing... this is what we got to figure out.I know after I turn the key sw to the right and then turn the machine on I should get a display but I don't.

I think I woud still order the tokens and give it a try. I am sure there will be a fix to this. You have the best support group here I have ever met on web.

Ok, If you have no lights, I'd check the fuses in the power supply. One of those fuses powers the lights. hanabi 1.jpg

I checked the fuses, there are 2 in the power supply and one inside too witch makes three fuses ,then theres one on the stop board beside the reels .I only have the top florescent and bottom light that come on it lights up the name of the game (hanabi) I'm wondering if it is the processor.

Even better yet the fuse in the pic you showed me,when I pull it out one of the three led lights on the processor will go out in the left corner. There is 3 there 1 for 5v 1 for 24v 1for 30v.When I pull the other fuse then the processor will go out

Well, if the fuses are good and there's power to the mother board. My next guess is a bad wiring harness or connection.

Whatever wiring harness powers the circuit board that the LED displays are in, check that harness and connection. With no reel lights also, that leads to to think it's a connection, (bent pin), or broken wire in a harness also. Because the reel lights get their power from the circuit board on the door. There should be a wiring harness from the reels to a circuit board on the door. Undo all these connections and look for a bent pin or corrosion, (discolored).

I did do that but I'll dubble check just the same, the wire harness from the processor to the led display did have a little corrosion,I cleaned them up and nothing ,so i thought maybe it,s not getting a connection in the harness it self.So I took the processor and the led display right out and had the on the table in front of me and i checked for continuty at each solder point at the connection on the processor and led display.every wire was good.

yes if thats what you call it belly glass. There is only two lights that light up and they are the top and bottom lights ,they light up the name of the game (hanabi).NO other light comes on.Other than the led light on the processor. do you know what the led light that has MOD bisde it is for? It's on the top of the processor in the middle. It will stay on all the time then give a quick blink every 30 sec or so.Like i said awhile back, every button I press like a bet button or stick whatever button i press the processor will light up a led light OR the is a few led lights that stay on all the time and when I hit a certain button I belive the 1 ans 2 buttons the light will led lght will go out untill i release the button

The led's on the mother board are there to help find problems. The led's just show a voltage change. Some light if you push a button or hit the spin knob. Some led's are lit all the time and go out if you push a button are some sensor, like in a coin mechanism. Depends on the manufacturer. The one that is lit all the time and flickers, I don't know what it represent's.

Is there just one ribbon cable to the door, that powers all the circuit boards and ballast's ,for the upper and lower florescent lights?

There are really 3 harness.1 with about 60 wires in it ( checked with ohm tester) it goes from the processor to the LED display. The other is at the very top,it runs from the processor to the top of the door and runs a bunch of LED light witch i did not see work. The 3rd is 4 yellow wires that run from the power supply to the ballist for the floresant lights.Like I was sayin before the 60 harnessI checked with the processor out and led disply on my table.the harness plugd into the processor and the display just like as if it were in the mahine.cheked for continuity at each solder point 1 at a time and all was good.I counted the time that Mod light blinks,it's evrey 4-5 sec it will stay on for 5 sec then quickly blink

The reels hook up to the processor with a 90 wire harness not sure if it's really 90 wires but its a lot
