So, no lights flickering in the center feature? now I'm even more confused!

the two bulgs in the last pic are wheat bulbs.. they will run on 24 volts..

after looking at your new pics your definitely missing a circuit or logic board..

im sure (guessing) when a ball pased threw one of the flicker pockets the center door would open for a short time.. the circuit board would have a timer device or the likes to keep it open for a pre set time..

what a cool machine.. and by the looks of it all original..

Wow! That is so cool! What do you think the machine's value will be, once I install the Arduino board? :-)
To answer pachiwall's question, the screws are factory installed. :-)

The value is a question mark. I'm going to say $325 if you can get it working. The Flicker gate is uncommon!

ACE Hardware sells a doorbell transformer with 8V, 16V and 24V AC terminals. You would need two bridge rectifiers from Radio Shack to convert to 8V DC for the Arduino and 24V DC for the lights. My guess is the electromagnet is 24V DC but I'm guessing. It might smoke! You can test all of the devices with batteries. The lights will be really dim but should still light up. Start with 3V , then try 9V. The electromagnet probably won't do anything (if it is 24V) until you get above 18V. But if it moves with 3V; you can keep experimenting! Batteries are safer than a power supply for testing. Hope that helps.

I will start off by saying what everyone can agree to. It depends on what someone is willing to pay.

I personally have never seen this before. So it would bump up the price of it. To me Carl's estimate seems a tad low. Though value all depends on how much work you put into a machine.

So right now just making everything function properly (Lights and switches all working and no jams. But no cleaning done.) I would say value would be around $325-350. Now if you were to clean the back mechanics. (That means taking them all off, scrubbing them clean with simple green or other solution, and polishing shafts and other areas.) Then your looking closer to $375-400 maybe. Then if you go and polish the pins on the playfield, (that means every nail, and not just the heads the whole shaft of every nail.) Then you could probably be looking at $450 +.

But like I said it all depends on what someone is willing to pay for it.

    100 machines and counting...

as for value i would disagree with both.. way less...

Im a hard core Original guy.. the missing parts are a huge problem.. not knowing how it originaly worked and making it work again based on a guess just kills it..[

Hehe. I guess it really does come down to how much someone is willing to pay. Fortunately, for me, I'm not selling it. I love this machine and look forward to customizing it. However, if I found the original circuit board, I'd be VERY delighted! :-)

if ya had the original boards and it worked i would be selling a few things to make ya an offer...

Im glad to see your keeping it..

I agree with Mopar! I love it for it's originality...BUT, those high numbers would only come true if it was all original. Even if you put $300 worth of electronics on it, still not original! Just try to sell Mopar a Superbird with a VERY expensive 454 CHEVY engine in it!

I tend to agree wired Mopar as well. It is a highly collectible machine, however I wouldn't expect it to sell for more that $100-$150.

That makes sense. With it being such a rare machine, I doubt I will ever find the original circuit board. But, I will definitely have a lot of fun, playing it. :-)

That is very realistic thinking...Me, I would have added: "...doesn't matter, not gonna sell it!"
