It is an automatic...column mountrd selecttor for R. N, D and L but no P for park. The car is left in neutral and the emergency brake is set to park the car. The car has power steering...the first year this option was available.

Just hide it in the driveway and park something like a hummer next to it, I'm sure she wouldn't notice it then

Go park it out back somewhere and then park that trailer in front of it so it hides the car. And then pile some wood or something under the trailer to hide the fact that there are more tires back there.

    100 machines and counting...

My wife would be absolutely thrilled to find that car in our driveway when she came home.

    (I would be as well)

Here are some interior pictures. I especially like the wing windows front and back.

I love the simplicity and styling in cars from the 50's and 60's. I agree that your Plymouth is in very good condition for it's age. Hopefully your wife will like and appreciate it.

My wife's first car was a 1954 Chevy wagon with a "three-in-the-tree" column shift and a 6 volt system. We had lots of fun in that car back in High School, although we had to bump start it most of the time because the 6 volt starter wouldn't always crank the engine fast enough. We loaded 18 kids in it one day to go out for a fast food lunch. It really held a lot of people. After a few years she upgraded to a 1967 Plymouth Satellite two door automatic, which was basically a Belvedere that was re-branded. She/we had that car for years and finally sold it when she became pregnant. We needed a four door. We both hated to get rid of it, as it was a very reliable car in great condition.
