    Being that the Mother Board IS stopping the Reels on a Time out And the lights on the Stop Buttons do go out when this happens I am more than sure that all of the wiring on the innrer door and from the inner door to the Mother Board is good. The issue as Wayne-Ooo stated is one of 3 things.:

    A bent, damaged pin / pins on the 4 connectors from the Stop Board or cold solder joint / joints on one or more of the connectors.

    A bent pin / pins on the 4 connectors from the Stop Board To their responding connector at the other end or cold solder joint / joints on one or more of the connectors.

    A broken wire / wires on the 4 connector harnesses from the Stop Board.

    I no longer have a Pachislo with that Board in it. But look at this Picture below. :

    VINTAGE.jpg

    Do you own a Multi Meter? If not the cheapest place you will find one is Harbor Freight. : 7 Function Multimeter

    In the picture you will see a row of resistors with numbers above them. Here is the breakdown.

    1 = +24 volts DC
    8 = common / Ground
    7 = Right Stop Button
    6 = Middle Stop Button
    5 = Right Stop Button

    If you have a meter (or get one) set it to a range that will read 24 volts DC. (BE CARE FULL PROBING ! ! !) Do NOT touch the probes together while you do this and short out the two locations you are Probing.

    With the Pachi Turned on put the black meter lead to the resistor marked 8 and the red meter lead to the resistor marked 1. You should read around 24 volts DC and power is getting to the Stop Board. Now leave the black meter lead on 8 and touch the red meter lead on each side of the fuse in it's holder. If both of these read around 24 volts DC then the Fuse is still good.

    You can also remove the fuse, set the meter to the Ohms scale and with the meter leads on each side of the fuse the meter should read " 0 ".

    Next remove all 4 Plug Harnesses from the Stop Board and where they connect to. Set the Meter to the Ohms scale and check the wiring on all 4 of these harnesses. You may need a paperclip or small sewing needle to insert into these plugs due to their size. As you check each one move the wire around that is connected to these pins and see if the meter changes it's value.

    On the Ohm scale and with a good connection (called a "SHORT") the Meter should read " 0 "

    Time for BED here. Please let us know what you find.
