WOW ended no bids. I thought some one would have wanted a UY2 even if its cyclic If I hadn't just brought a different one, I'd have it

What does cyclic mean with a pachinko machine? I did not bid, because A: I just need the cel, and B: currently no monies to dedicate to new pachi. Soon though. Thank you for keeping an eye open for them.

There is a UY3 cel on YJA at the moment. I know a dealer who has a okumura frame that should fit it too

I really should get my uy2 cel before I go on to getting the UY3. But I do want to hear more.

Cyclic. If I'm spelling it right.

Some of the plastic in the frame has been cut out under the cel and replaced with a ramp taking all the shot balls back to the front tray. It diverts every shot ball no matter if its a lost ball or goes into a pocket back to the front tray.
You can run a machine on about 50 balls and never worry about filling the back tank or emptying the front trays on fever.

Just thought I'd post a link, in case anyone reading wants to know more about 'cyclic'

I don't have any 'Cyclic' or 'Semi-Cyclic' machines in my own collection, as I prefer the excitement of the payouts and with 'cyclic' it means you don't get that mad Fever Rush of hundreds of pachinko balls

But it's useful if you have young children around, less chance of them eating the pachinko balls, and some people prefer not to have to do the frantic ball manoeuvring, and especially so if you only have a limited quantity of balls.

Here's a link to some useful info regarding 'Cyclic'

PachiTalk Research Center - FAQ - Pachinko - What is cyclic usage - PachiTalk

that link also gives more links to other threads here with more information regarding this

There are also other posts on 'how to' make some machines / frames 'cyclic' in the RC Centre
