IndeEd I was! One family member was confused and the rest fell silent with awe then simultaneously asked if this was like the pachinko machine that we had sturdily mounted in the den growing up. He sold it "as-is" and it will take a long time to examine the insides but at first glance it looks like it needs some pins straightened. Nothing looked horrible inside and the original frame is great. It's been mounted on to a deep frame with heavy duty hinges and came with some shiny balls. I don't know anything about what I'm doing... So it all looks good to me by default. Will report back!
