I sent low offer to this seller right after my last post and never heard back,
but after selling a machine to friends college bound daughter (the Maharaja is now in a sorority house in Austin),I upped it to $99 and they accepted it!
I have seen this machine here on the site a few times, and its featured in the info section of a Maruhon Pachinko Parlor video game I got for the nintendo DS
so it seems to have had a following at some point

Hoping its worth the 5 hour round trip

Wishing I already had it in my possession,but those pics are from the site I found,

so far, the seller contacted me this morning asking when I might be there and that they had some errands to run and wanted to make sure to be home if I drove all that way,
I indicated it would be afternoon or whenever would be good for them,also left my phone #,
So far I have yet to hear back from them,and its too late to go today
not giving up yet,hopefully they just got busy,it has been listed for almost a month now

And we have a winner!! here's a very short teaser video of the intro(all I could muster this evening),
that was such a long trip,(full five hours) I'm gonna wait until tomorrow to give you the details,take pics and try to record some reaches

After a very long drive out of the prairie and into the piney woods of East Texas,I arrived at the sellers house and immediatly knew which one it was from the pachinko machine sitting on the front porch in the direct western sunlight
(think it might have freaked him out momentarily when I went tearing up the yard to move it into the shade! ) wasn't there for long fortunatly,
Turned out,he recieved it from a friend, and that it had been stored in an attic for years!
it was easy to tell from the super bright colors!

It did have a few issues, but was being sold as is,and I was able to clear up most of them while checking it out on the porch,

Ended up requiring: clearing out a ball jam,replacing a missing dongle,removing two really big dead hornets from the payout mech,as well as locating and tightening a loose connection,to make it quit showing error codes,now it runs like a dream! And is easily one of the most striking machines I've snagged so far! Hope you like!

also, turns out it was distributed by the now defunct Republic Industries that was located here in Dallas and ended up becoming Texas Auctions which then morphed into Slot-Pachinko.
all in all,I could not be more pleased with the end result,and am currently trying to record a jackpot and some really fun reaches

Thanks for the kind words and encouragment! Thats what makes this site so special
I just really love these machines and view them as an art form that needs documentation

After filming for a while I managed to get three reaches close in a row ,including a "deluxe" reach video features the Monroe character in the yaku (center) of a basic hanemono machine complete with flapping wings (flippers) and "v" pocket!
The goal is to get the golden sphere into the "v " pocket,which fails to happen this time,but I will get that elusive jackpot caught on film soon!
