Default 2 fully restored 2 to go

I like the freestand mount, the other half likes the wall mount. Actually have the 3rd one done just have to build a cabinet for it. Im trying to come up with a way to funnel the balls to the shelf on the one on the left. I've seen some ideas, but can't seem to make any work.

    Very cool!

Can you post some close-up pics of your restored machines? Shiny vintage machines are like Pachi Porn to some of us.

There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

That center feature with the big spring looks pretty cool. What does it do?

    Thanks for sharing!

    This one cracked me up!

Nice cabinet. You're a lucky person if your other half likes either cabinet style. Mine would rather see my pachi's put out of the house altogether!

You see, this is the bizarre thing.
The Mrs. and my 3 teenagers expressed their explicit rejection of anything pachi whether it be pachinko or pachislo. They "don't get the point" of playing either and HATE the noise with vengeance.

Yet the Mrs. didn't mind me getting these: http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/vint...-machines.html
I have one fully restored machine and the other (Gold Union) is disassembled with its parts stored in buckets because I got temporarily derailed by a more pressing project. To make matters even more confusing the Mrs. is now asking me to finish rebuilding the Gold Union pachinko because she likes the style. I've given up trying to figure them out.

I am quite sure that she and my family will choose not to ever consider enjoying them and refuse to even attempt to flip a few balls. Strange... very strange indeed.

I think the others here at Pachitalk are right when I heard them report these machines tend to multiply on their own, and next thing you know you'll have a bunch of them.

Wow Steve. Looked at your link. Is that a 60's machine? That is cool. The other half found the one on the wall in my pic on the side of the road. I saw it while getting Christmas stuff out of the shed looked at it and decided to restore it (My parents had one when I was growing up). After I cleaned it up I told her I was going to have Pachinko's all over then basement, she said I could have one more...wrong answer. I now have 3 fully functional and just started the 4th. I call a jackpot a "whammy". She sent me a text this morning to say she hit a "double whammy" (on her way to go to work, by way of basement). Go figure they say no more, but play them behind your back...LOL @seth The ball "swirls" down the middle of the spring, probably was cool at the time...STILL IS...

When I officially joined this forum I believe a month or two ago, I had 2 ...I now have 6. and I'm still designing my own challenge ball version.. and sadly I'm sharing 2000 balls between all of them. I do have a clever hide away system for storing my machines though money is not in my favor at the moment, only paper so I've been doing a lot of drawing and my time will come

    Hi ssgtmc:

I don't have an exact year for my two machines but it seems they are both of a similar time. I am guessing early 50's or late 40's.
