Hello from Aruba!!!

I thought I would post a few pictures from Aruba. We are going to be here through the 7th as we are celebrating our 3rd Anniversary on the 4th. However, I will be having a raising a drink on the 4th as well to all my friends here as it will mark my 1 year anniversary on the site. I still cannot figure out why I was on the internet looking up pachis on the day of my two year anniversary. Probably best not to mention that to my wife. I will try to post some pics however internet connections here are very tempermental.

Today my wife & I are celebrating our 3rd Anniversary. Today is also my one year anniversary on Pachitalk. I have a pretty good internet connection this morning so I thought I would try to post a few more pictures.

The resort we are staying at has a small private island that is a short boat ride away. The island is divided into two beaches, an adult and a family side. It is also home to some flamingos and a lot of iguanas. The iguanas we learned the hard way, can be very aggressive when you have food on you. I was lounging by the water having a sandwich, when several surrounded us and one even jumped several feet onto me and took my sandwich. I didn't realize they jumped or moved so quickly. It really scared my wife quite a bit but no harm done. I need to cut back on how much I eat anyways.

We rented a jeep today. The guy was curious about me as I asked for the one I saw that was a little beat up. We took it all over the island where only 4X4's could go. Got some great pictures of areas most tourists do not get to see. We are now getting ready to head out to dinner to celebrate our anniversary. I arranged for a table on a private beach in front of the water to be catered for us to surprise my wife. I will also be raising a glass to all my friends here on Pachitalk to celebrate one year today that I first joined.

Yes, I arranged it as a surprise for my wife to pick us up from the airport. It will also be taking us back to the airport tomorrow morning. Apparently, according to the driver, Akon (not sure who that is or how to spell his name) was the last person to be picked up in the car before us. Really not sure who Akon is but the driver was very proud of the fact.
