Sorry for the caps. Lol. I was half asleep while trying to post the pics. I did not even have a chance to clean it or take apart the back. Too busy this week.

I do believe they are fish on the middle.

How can I tell what year it is from? And is Besta a good brand?

    Thanks Pete.

WOW! What a nice looking machine! A bargain at $30! I don't see Besta much...but it looks complete except for an easily made dust cover on back. Looks like it functions like a Nishijin Model B. If you haven't already seen this...check this out. Model B Video it will help a lot...even if it is a different brand! This one is also good, a bit wordy...but very informative, once again, a Nishijin. There are other stickies that are at the top of the VINTAGE PACHINKO forum that are worth looking at also. The one on cleaning wont be needed on this one! It looks real clean, with great chrome! AND WELCOME TO PACHITALK!

Beautiful machine for a great price! Does look like it's missing the cover over the jackpot rocker, but that's pretty minor.

Wow looks great. I might have to look into that Stoner stuff. I guess having access to all those chemicals is a plus though.

Great looking machine!! I admire your attention to detail (pun intended )

Would you mind adding a post in the following thread listing the cleaning stuff you used? I think it would be great to keep a running list of things we discover that work well on Pachinko machines.

I know that Stoner brand Invisible Glass is at all AutoZones in the Ohio area, I would expect all of them to have it. Strange, haven't tried any of it yet.Gonna have to try some! By the way...the inside ball paths looked FANTASTIC! Did you polish...or simply clean. On high mileage machines, especially ones used with rusty balls...those paths get scratched and scored, with rust dust ground in. They never come that clean! Great work!

Thanks everyone. I used a tooth brush with the trim cleaner. The trim cleaner is not very wet it is real foamy and dry... So if you can picture it... Spray the cleaner right on the play field...scrub with the brush between the paths...wedge a towel in there...then use the compressed air to blow the dirty foam into the towel... hope you understand what I mean.

Lucky for you that machine doesn't have a paper playfield. Usually you never spray anything on the playfield as most were paper so anything liquid or foamy will sink right into it. Just a tip for future machines.
