Default Nishijin - Our first Vintage!

This is our second Pachinko. We just obtained a modern (1995 Sankyo) at an estate sale and we had such a good time getting it working and playing it that we started the search for more. Less than a week later we found this one. We took it apart as much as we could yesterday afternoon (the modern was all screws so easy to fully disassemble, this one is mostly staples and nails so we did not remove everything this time) and gave it a good cleaning. After reassembly and about 30 min. of tweaking levers, wires and tabs its once again fully functional.

I am pretty sure it's a 1970 "Model A" from my research, but we are still very new to this so if someone could confirm that I would appreciate it. It says "Flower" in the center of the play field, so I am guessing that's the version of this unit? The letters "CF" appear above that.

    Thanks in advance!

Very nice looking front overflow machine. Chrome is in fantastic shape. I wish I could find more machines like that.

    All the info about it:
1970 Nishijin Tokyo front overflow : Pachinko Planet, Antique and Vintage Pachinko Machines

Yours has either a Flower theme or a Clover theme. It is up to you to decide which, as there are no real specifics to identifying the theme.

    Any further questions just ask.

    100 machines and counting...

    Welcome to PachiTalk!

That's a great machine to have!!! You're lucky that the jackpot payout scale thingy still has its dust cover. Mine is missing or was never there.

If you want to see an animation to understand how your new machine works, it can be found here:

Thanks for the feedback guys! The previous owner said it's been in storage here in dry New Mexico for 37 years.

SteveFury, are you a digital animator by trade? That is my line of work. I think it's the best job in the world, been doing it since the DOS days. I know how much time you invested in the creation of that model and it shows. I really enjoyed your ball physics! Is this done in Solid Works?

    Nice machine.

It must have been in suspended animation!

    Thank you.
I began messing around with Newtek's Lightwave 3D back around 2002. Portable Live Production | NewTek I haven't been to any schools for this but read a few books and built countless models. It's a hobby of mine that I mainly use occasionally as an aid to figure out something I am physically building.
