Post Re: My container of Pachinkos has left the States!

8am Saturday morning for offical container unload in Melbourne (and re-packaging of games for interstate buyers).

By 6pm that night (very early Saturday morning USA time, not so early in old Blighty), all my pachis should be safely ensconced in my premises.

I will post photos of the container unload, as there are game cabinets (besides the pachis) I'm sure some here will be interested in.

Be careful, man. I've heard that in a land down under, women glow and men plunder. Stay safe.

Its not in for decontainination is it, Don't want any nasty spiders sneaking on to the island and interfering with the eco system.

Oh that's not nice. I just seen what SOME Aussie customs officials are like on tv. Woe be tied if they find a spider living inside the frame. They would probably burn the machine for safety. Of course that could just be the effect of being on tv though.

busy day... have only unwrapped a few.

Here's one I've done.. my CRF Star Wars complete with saran wrap, egg cartons and old blankets!

Looks like it made it through OK - also looks to be a cyclic! (any way to tell for sure without powering it up? I haven't got a step down transformer yet for these)

Mods: I don't know what's happening tonight - I can't attach photos in the normal way, for love or money??? Have rebooted twice and no change this end. (sorted)

Drop a ball in any pocket or lost ball on the playing field. If it comes out the front it's cyclic, if it cones out the back, it should be normal.

Original plan was to replace all the resident machine 110V transformers to 240V - but that looked to be too exxy at about $40+ per machine.

Might still do that for the later model ones...

My ebay sourced Sankyo Flying Carpet II arrived wrapped in scrunched up newspaper, a soft doona covering taped into it (shown), and a Indian themed wolf blanket (not shown) outside of that. A wing and a prayer...

Had been dropped on it's unprotected head at some stage and broke the custom wood cabinet right through - not sure if the machine is still working but looks bright, clean and OK. We'll see. I'm not actually sure where the loose bits of wood (3rd photo along) are supposed to fit yet???
