Post My container of Pachinkos has left the States!

and you better believe, I'm going to be tracking the thing over virtually every piece of terrain I can!

Here are the hard working lads in Illinois, closing the door on a beaten up old 20 footer, and sending it on its way.

Won't you join me on the journey all the way down undaaaaaaeeer?

Did you leave supplies and air holes for the lads. It's your choice. But I would have left them behind and could have fitted at least 4 more pachis in there.

Heard that, on average, 10,000 containers fall off ships each year. Happy Sails to you.

If it is going to long beach I definitively could intercept it. What was the container # and expected day of arrival in LB again?

Good luck to your pachiload. How many you have in there again? I lost count after about 5.

    100 machines and counting...

I have heard that customs wants a full search of each machine, and they will test them to make sure they work properly. That could take weeks of testing.Who knows you may find a couple of customs agents inside the container still testing the machines on arrival.

Thats super awesome CandyFlip!! How many pachis did you get in there and why load up a container of pachies from America instead of Japan?

Just 10 pachis... I'm piggy-backing on a load of dedicated video game cabinets.

Lots of good reasons why the US has to be the source and I was going to write them all out for you, but in the end, it all comes down to: money.

If you've got the $$, nothing is impossible in Japan. With unlimited funds; I could hire Juno to track down the pachis from all across Japan (all in Japanese - as they don't speak English), buy them (Japanese don't know about or use Paypal in the main), store them, organise a container to ship from Tokyo (again, all in Japanese - they wouldn't deal with a foreigner), transport them again to the freight forwarder and get all that organised and paid for. Weeks and weeks of full time work for him.

You could fly to Japan and do it all yourself of course, but again, US$2500 for the trip and the stay (conservatively), plus the cost of your purchases and the container ship of course, and you'll need fluent Japanese.

If money is no issue, it can all be done for you.

I'm down for going in with other members to track down machines we want and have a container shipped here.
