Gundam One Year War Pachislo Spin Reel Lever Not Working

Newbie to the forum and Pachislo's, so a big hello to everyone.

I have just bought my first Pachislo (Gundam) and enjoying every token that I put in, until a few moments ago so I'm hoping someone might be able to help or point me in the right direction.

It has been working perfectly until this afternoon when I went to have a little go and half way through the Spin Reel Lever stopped working. I went straight onto here and had a good read but couldnt find a solution.
Ive had a look at the visiable fuse (inside on the right), the stop, max bet, single bet and collect buttons all light up and thier LED's flash on the Motherboard. I did read that there should be an LED for the lever but nothing flashes.
I believe there are different types of levers in Pachislo's, mine has a bar inside the machine that seems to pass through a U shape sensor of sorts. Ive looked at the leads to the small circuit board attached to the U and cant see any cables lose or any burn marks on the board.

I was able to put tokens in and get credit until I tried to do a reset (one where you change the ODD's) but now cant get out of there as it needs to be set with the Lever.

I hope Ive managed to explain it properly and any help would be fantastic.

Have you cleaned the sensor ? Use glass cleaner with a Q tip and dry it good .See if that helps

Ive just cleaned it with glass cleaner and gave it time to dry etc.. but still no luck

Thought it might be of help if I added a pic of the small circuit board and the U shaped bit that is on the inside of the machine (and other end of the lever).

Look at the code written on the opto-senser (the U shaped thingy) Post it here so we can look at it. Its probably fried. You should be able to get a replacement from RS components. thats where the chap from Kingston upon Thames got his replacement sensor from

Make sure your Bet button is not stuck down. If it is stuck down the spin lever will not work.

Ive tried the bet buttons and the stop buttons to see if they are stuck but the LED's for the those buttons flash each time one is pressed so i'm guessing that they are all ok.

I was hoping for a bit more than that Should at least be a manafacture there. From what I can find 866 means what type of sensor (IR Transmissive) and lead gap.

As you can see RS do a large range, So you need to get the right one. Also count the amount of pins coming out on to the board, Its probably 4

Ohh sorry about that Ive had another good look on it and all I can really see is on top it says 0.5.

There is what looks like a logo beside P866, could be a letter P, F or even a G. Apart from that there isnt anything else on there
