Ball dump...how to?

Can anyone help explain how to ball dump on a rocky the movie machine? Red octagon knob at top,does not seem to turn very far...

To the right of the octagon about half way down you will see a red half circle on the ball track. Pull this tab forward to release the balls.

try posting a picture of the back of your machine if ya cant locate it
