Life is like a Poo Sandwich.
The more Bread you have, the less Poo you get.
(The word Poo can be changed when telling this fact)

I have always subscribed to the fact that Life is what you make of it. I am a firm believer in Karma. If you always do you best to do the right thing, good things will happen (not always immediately).

I was given some advice from my Grandmother a long time ago and I try to apply it to every decision I make to this day:

Whenever you are presented with a choice to make, use the following priorities:

Put God first, then your wife, then your family, and then your job. By doing this and also by having a wife (soulmate) who does the same I find that my needs are always taken care of as well.

I have been truly blessed and that's not to say that there hasn't been some major set backs in my life (like having my ex-wife have an affair). I learned quickly though that God never throws anything at you that you can't handle (even though sometimes it can feel that way). All of the life experiences I have had (good and bad) have helped make me the person I am today. I certainly have made a lot of mistakes, but I have learned not to blame them on anyone but myself. Learn from these mistakes and do my best not to repeat them.

I am now happier than I have ever been. I have been blessed with an amazing wife, very supportive family and friends and a good job. I never take any of these things for granted.

Anyway, just my two cents worth.

By the way I certainly consider the friends I have made here among my blessings.

It's not the things. It is the people that makes life wonderful. I would gladly let go of all the stuff in my life. As long as I have my faith, my amazing wife by my side, my family and friends, I will always consider myself truly blessed.
