    Default New Buys Machines 84 & 85

Well the main story is here. http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/crai...25-oxnard.html

Anyways. Just recently purchased another Circuit racer machine. Also stopped and picked up a monkey & alligator one to justify gas. The Monkey & Alligator makes machine #84; The Circuit makes machine #85.

This one is in great shape compared to my other one. The background has no water staining at all on it. It is just covered with dirt which actually helped to protect the colors.

It had a transformer already attached. I checked the wires really fast saw they all looked to be okay so I took the chance and plugged it in. And IT WORKED!!! I'm really surprised nobody screwed this machine up. I still have yet to play my other one so I had no clue how it actually played. (diodes blown in the other one) The wires I will still go through and replace as someone did a splice and solder job hooking up the transformer.

I also took so time to study the background and started to go through what it on it. I'm surprised with what I found. (and how quickly) This info will be in the following post...

    Anyways pictures:
#1: Monkey & Alligator (front) This thing is disgusting.
#2: M&A Lower tray showing all the filth on the machine.
    #3: M&A (Back)
    #4: Circuit Front
    #5: Circuit Playfield
    #6: Back
    #7: Opened back
    #8: Electronics
#9: Front Badge. I found it odd how it said Elex Rotary on it. As that term wasn't officially put on machines till 1976 (Circuit is a 75). In 75 they still said Shiroi Kamome. Also the other odd thing is the tulips. That style also wasn't used till 76. I think the PF's, PR's, and the Circuits were their promo machines to show what is going to come.

Well here is what I discovered on the Playfield. Some might be a tad different but I found things that resembled the playfield as closely as possible.

    Pictures:

#1: (In the upper left) 1970 Ford Capri Perana. I couldn't find one with the rally lights though. But there is a different version the RS2600 that did get rally lights but the fenders are different.

#2: (Mid Left side) Lotus 72 (A or B. I can't actually tell which.). I don't think there was one ever build with #12 on it. However I think they put the 12 on it because that was Mario Andretti's number on his Lotus 49B.

#3: (lower Right) Tyrrell 006. #5 Driven by Sir Jackie Stewart.

#4: (Mid Right) Sir Jackie Stewart.

#5: (Upper Right) Lancia Fulvia 1600 HF.

Like I said I found things that resembled them as closely as possible. If you know of something that you think might be closer please post a pic.

Yeah I plan on moving the transformer to the base. I don't like where it sits at the moment. Because it is like you said you can't open the back all the way. The other reason why is they used the screws from the hinges to put it on. The machine has a few issues but nothing major.

wow its strange to read that..

im working on a Power machine for Brother John, that had its small transformer hanging from two of the screws that hold the hinge on.. i wonder if an importer did it that way to save on wire??

They probably did do it like that to save on wire.

What did Jon buy now? Did he buy that one power roulette that was for sale in texas?

it has a fish in the center with a motor that opens and closes its mouth.. its cycles open and then closes 3 or 4 seconds per cycle..

someone forced the mouth open and striped off the first teeth.. trying to mold and shape new ones..

as i rember the seller of the power roulette would not deal or ship
