Three Star/Samsung ArrangeBall

It says Ginza and more conspicuously, Three Star but the translation says its a Samsung so who knows. In any case, it's the first I've heard of from either manufacturer though I've seen three star parts on other ABs. Pretty dirty but looks to be complete and I've fully restored much worse so this could be a great project for someone if the price stays reasonable. The kanji 三星 does translate as 'Three Stars'. I'm not sure where the 'Samsung' translation comes from, is it just me or does Google translate seem to be getting worse at Japanese than it used to (hopefully my own Japanese is getting better so I'm noticing the mistakes more, but I doubt that's true).

Thanks for the clarification. Always fun trying to hash out google translations.
This machine has a unique upper score bar in that instead of a lit number to display the amount won, it shows the actual row or column or center four that was completed.

There's also an image of 3 shooting stars on the upper left attract lens on the cel, so it does seem to be a 3 Star.

Looking at my Three Star I note that all of the boards for the machine are mounted on the inside. In mine they are mounted on the back of the machine. It looks like the payout button and the coin chute might have something wrong as they are taken out in the pictures. Probably easy fix. It certainly looks like all of it is their. An unusual pay feature on the top. Something I have not seen before. It also has some kind of display next to the top payout markers. The top is game over but their is something else below it. If I was bidding and I am not and using a broker I would have him translate all of the writing in the yahoo japan add and that might give you alot more information.

I saw that display too but can't quite make out what it is. It sorta looks like numbers and if so it could be how it keeps track of what's won. Looks very busy inside for what looks like a fairly basic machine. No bonuses or bonus buttons that I can see.

Well good luck to you. It is just a basic arrangeball and should not go to high. The shipping is going to be high as they weigh just as much as a modern machine. One thing I have learned is that you should either just forget having anyone ship the glass in the machine and instead just put a piece of heavy cardboard in front of the nails. I also shipped a machine and took off the stick out hand holder on the bottom. Saves a few inches all the way around. Not much help but every little bit helps.

Just for a comment the cover over the coin entry shute might just be broken on one end and that might be why they have it off. Somebody over here has poured a new one after making a plastic mold for it. FYI
