Default Some snapshots of my room

We have some company coming over today so it was time to clean up the family room. It's nothing fancy but I thought I'd snap a few photos and post 'um.

One picture has a glass case with a 5 foot scale model Titanic RC boat I made about 20 years ago. It features a 4 channel Futaba radio, a car horn, about 50 wheat size light bulbs and 3 fluorescent bulbs inside the hull that illuminate a zillion "portholes". It took about 5 years of working on-off to complete. It does float and go... and no It isn't designed to sink and I don't have an RC iceberg to chase it. (Those are frequent questions people ask)
The other boat above it is another RC model, the Missouri which was kit built a few years before the Titanic.

There's really nothing special to note about the row of pachinko except they run on a common 6volt buss provided by 4 "C" batteries. The device between the two is a home made ball dispenser and the unit on the far right is my DIY digital ball counter.

I couldn't exclude my Gottlieb Spirit of 76 which is a current restore project.

    Thanks for looking!

    Very cool! Thanks for sharing!

I will need to do the same for my basement/game room as soon as I can finish the stands for all of my pachi's.

What type of radio do you have sitting there in the first pic? I have a few vintage radios myself.

Nice looking gameroom / family room.

    100 machines and counting...

Yes, that particualr radio is a 1947 Packard Bell Phonocord. It was probably the first model of a karaoke. It has a special phonograph that is designed to not only play records but to record them. It has a microphone that you can record your voice onto a record, or comment/sing along to AM or SW broadcasts.

I have a number of old antique radios and electronic devices from the 1920's-1960's. I've been fixing these old radios periodically since the 1970's. I used to repair them on a fairly regular basis for local antique stores and their customers from around 1993-2010.
The interest in them has ran dry and I am selling almost all of my radios on Craigs list. Not that much luck on sales there yet.

Thank you all for the kind comments. You're too kind.
