Default Hello, My name is John and I own three Pachinko machines.

So I got my first machine at Target. There were a bunch of them in battered boxes that had been discounted to something like $20. They were listed as refurbished, probably just cleaned, and came with 200 balls and steel legs. A box of 800 balls was another $20, and the electrical kit; consisting of a wallwart and an instruction sheet, for $15. So I'm into this to the tune of about $55 and I'm having a ball. The house was kinda small so I couldn't leave it set up, and the wife complained about the noise, so it really didn't get played much, but already the seeds of a gameroom were taking place. Moving forward, I lost that machine when my now ex-sister-in-law sold it at her garage sale for $15 dollars! Some years go by. Then for Fathers Day about 15 years ago my daughter and son-in-law present me with the machine pictured on the left. A little while after that I got the machine on the floor off CL. The dreams of a gameroom were reforming! Having a second machine meant that I would need a ball lift someday. See Building a ball lift for my current progress in that direction. Unfortunately, the machine on the floor turned out to be an abused child, and therefore, a project unto itself. Last month I got the middle machine off CL and despite being stored on it's side, seems to be whole and serviceable. I rejoined this forum and now am having fun with these things again.

Some prototype screws I made for some people. I took the picture to email to them. I like it so I use it from time to time. Sometimes with the caption "He's a little screwy!" The size is 8-32.

Welcome back to PachiTalk, John!! It's great to see another active member in the Denver area! I also collect and now repair/recondition vintage Pachinko machines, so let me know if you need any help - I would be glad to assist!! Looking forward to seeing the progress on your lift system. I am contemplating one myself for all of the games in my basement.

Please post more pics of you machines when you get a chance. I would love to see close-ups of the play fields.
