I use Electronic Contact cleanern for sticker removal.
I think the cold from the compressed liquid aids in the glue removal

I have used WD-40 when removing emblem and stickers from painted surfaces of my motorcycle. I dare say that the surfaces of Pachislos are a bit more resilient than a motorcycle's paint job. WD-40 gets my vote - save the Everclear for drinking!

....Goo Gone (citrus based solvent) works OK, but lots of elbow grease needed. I tried Goof Off, but it attacks the plastic reels.

I use goo gone. I restore old video arcade games and it is a lifesaver. Remember not to use goof off..... That crap melts plastic!

I just used a product called Oops, that I got at Wal-Mart. It worked great on the cabinet and the belly glass and chrome finish. I didn't try it on the reels, but I had no need to.

I use good ole lighter fluid, Ronson or Zippo, works great. Takes the glue residue off fast and streak free. Does not harm or cloud plastic. Dries quickly also. 8oz bottle 89 cents

I'm suprised nobody mentioned rubbing alcohol. Very cheap and one of the best things out there for removing sticker residue.

I use lighter fluid. (Ronson is a Good Brand). It will not harm any plastics. Goo-Gone will harm certain plastics and does not always work as well as lighter fluid. Someone else mentioned using a heat gun. Well that works well but use a Hair Dryer that works great too and then use lighter fluid to get off the remains (if there is any left) Trust me on this one as I have been using it for years and it will not harm any plactics at all and its cheap. Unfortunately Rubbing Alcohol will attack certain plastics (yes it works well on others). However as I have siad if you don't want to take a chance then try Lighter Fluid its works perfect.

I use my wife's fingernails. "Hey babe, can you come and scrape this off, you know my nails are too short"!

    Works everytime!
