After discovering and getting into a great japanese role playing video game series called Shin Megami Tensei,I came across this machine at http://www.custompachinko.com/

It's based off of one of the games in the series (there are over a dozen so far) This one is called Persona 3 which was released on the Playstation 2 as well as rereleased for the Playstation Portable handheld system (currently playing that one)It's also loaded with quite a bit of japanese pop songs as well as an insane number of animations!
Don't know a lot about it yet except that it has a day and night cycle as well as the fact you can "die" during the jackpot round which will end it early also, it has a character that will pop out every now and then, and will sometimes try to drop a virtual sphere into the center pocket (very cool) havn't got him to do it yet , but so far I'm having a blast

and as usual Frank was spot on in the communication department,
I couldn't be happier with my newest toy

All sounds really interesting, especially if you can have a different outcome / end to the Jackpot round, ('Fever' round?? or a different reach maybe??)

I was able to grab a copy of Persona 4 for the Playstation 2 just last week,but have yet to try it out (fortunantly my PS3 is backward compatible)

according to Atus, it looks like they are going to re-release in an expanded version of it on the PSVita handheld
in the Fall

Persona 4 Arena (A fighting game) comes out this summer on PS3, and The weirdo puzzle game Catherine for PS3 is related to the series as well

I didn't know that Catherine was related to Persona 4. Catherine is one seriously F'd up game. I played the demo and it was really difficult
It's a weird game and I normally like weird.

Catherine is quite the famous game for a variety of reasons... I like the youtube clips of the endings including the really hard to get endings...
