Sad dog story

I know there are some dog lovers on here, so I thought I would post this story.
I like to think that I am a tough guy, but this had me in tears when I read it.
We have 2 Pitbull mixes and a American Staffordshire Terrier as you can see in my avatar pic, and it just breaks my heart to think that one day they will be going through the same thing.
I know Pitbulls have a bad reputation but they are in my opinion, incredible dogs. There is not a day that goes by that they don't make us smile or laugh at their personalities and they way that they bond together.
Dogs life spans are so short in the overall scheme of life, I just wish they could live forever.

I was just telling a friend of mine while we were out to lunch today about the Pit I used to have. Deebo was a 110 pound male Pitbull. He was primarily white with patches of Brindle. My wife took him in the divorce years ago. Deebo was by far the best dog I ever owned. I probably talked my friend's ear off with stories about him today. I wish I had a picture of him on my work pc to post. I know I have a bunch of pictures on my home pc. I do miss that dog.

It's to bad more people can't be like dogs .The world would be a much happier place

There's no bad dogs, just bad owners.

Dogs, pits or otherwise, don't come out mean, stupid people make them that way.

Dogs are awesome, always had them in my life since the day I was born. At this moment we have a 90lbs. Black Lab and a 150+lbs. Neo Mastiff. My wife and I lost our 8 year old Son Rocky (Rotweiler) nine years ago, a story that will have all in tears... but I won't make anyone suffer through that horrible read so to move forward, yeah dogs are awesome.
