Default Hi. Newbie with some pachi problems...

Hi, I'm a newbie to this forum but I will certainly be posting more in the future as I intend to obtain some more character themed pachinko machines.

I'm looking for glass for my new 2003 model Banpresto Mazinger-Z pachinko.
I just got it yesterday but it has no glass and no key .Does anyone have these? Can someone also tell me where the on off switch inside is? And what's the deal with these red and black wires leading to a kind of toggle switch that is hanging out the front?

Here's a pic with a Jumbo Machinder Mazinger-Z standing next to it. Yeah, I grabbed it from Yahoo Japan last month. I live in Seoul myself so I can get a lot more parts from manufacturers or wholesalers relatively easily and quickly if you have links to their sites or addresses etc.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi Alex,
    WELCOME to PACHITALK

The glass... You can get a piece of PlexiGlass at hardware, Lowes or Home Depot store. Cut it to fit with a small tooth blade on jig saw to fit.
None of the machines come with keys. There is another discussion on this site about making a key and altering the lock but most folks just reach around the back of machine to open it.

It might be set up to only play the video, plug it in (is there a transformer on the back, if so is it a 100v - 110v to 24v) if so. than push the button, and I bet the video plays.
If that so I would chech the pockets foe sensors, to see if it has been gutted.
If an oron lock there is a thread on a fix. Iy looks to be a converted to play just the video.

Manzinger lives in Korea. I'm not sure what they're AC requirements are? They might be 100V like Japan. With that, I don't know of Lowe's or Home Depot are building there yet. They must of course have an equivilant though..

I was thinking the same thing as Arby with that toggle switch it might be set up to only play the video like some of those "home" machines we've seen lately. Not sure really what the point of all that is myself?
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

    Hey,
thanks everyone- this seems like a friendly forum already.
    # The plexiglass is interesting- it's very cheap cos it's manufactured here so that's no problem at all.
    # Yeah, it's the 110v to 24v and clearly says 24 on a tag on the power cord.
    # I'll have to look more closely at everything because maybe Banpresto isnt the manufacturer (maybe that's a character license brand) ? The round handle/firing pin (?don't know the lingo yet) is clearly marked MONAKO.
    # I'll try messing around with different transformers and take some pix of the back/mechanism itself and you can maybe give me some more guidance.

    Thanks
