Smile New pachinko machines :) and question.

    Hi,

Picked up two new machines this weekend. The first a newer machine a 2010 Daiichi Enter the Matrix in what appears to be a Superman Returns frame. The second is an older modern, a 2001 Sankyo CR Fever Jyuunishi. Details are sparse on the 2001 machine, so I have some questions.

1 - The card reader port has no dongle but plays, so I'm guessing the machine was modified to bypass the card reader. Any ideas on what to look for to revert the machine back to the original condition?

2 - The machine has the original lock, an OMLOCK. However my existing OMLOCK key(s) do not work. The key(s) work with all my other modern pachinko's. Any way to get the original key or a new lock mech for the newer OMLOCK's? or am I stuck jury rigging a cable to open close the lock? This machine is currently cabinet mounted.

    Thanks!

I'm not sure if it would be worth trying to un modify your machine if its working fine.. I have one older machine with no signs of modification that works fine without a dongle, but it still works fine when an upgraded Daverob dongle is installed on it..

As for the key..does it fit and just not turn?? If so removing the pins will get you going..

PachiTalk Research Center - FAQ - Pachinko - Pachinko Lock Conversion for 'Omron' Lock - PachiTalk

This was written before keys usually came with pachinkos..so ignore the car key part..but I did this to most of mine and used a screwdriver to open my machines once they were in cabinets..Only took about 5 minutes per machine..And once I started getting keys they worked great in all the modified machines..

I hope some of that was helpful!!

The key fits but it won't turn. I'll try removing the pins on it. I'm going to order the dongle and see if it enables the CR buttons before trying to mess with the machine, right now it pays out 25 balls each time it is powered on. Where is the best place to buy a dongle in the US?

    Thanks!

Also I saw this machine was not in the research center, how do I go about adding it? I can take picture of the machine if that helps.
