Default Help needed with King Pulsar Frog Revolution machine

We've got a King Pulsar machine here, but we don't know anything about it.

Have figured out how to reset the machine and get rid of the error code.

As long as the door is open we can add tokens and build up the credits. The machine works with no problem.

While it has credits, you can play just fine.

When we close the door and add a token, it immediately displays an E-0 error on the front.

We've taken what I believe to be a coin sensor loose and cleaned the rails that the coins travel across.

I haven't been able to find a manual for this machine anywhere, and was hoping that perhaps someone might be able to lead me in the right direction.

Thanks for any help you might offer.

    Welcome to Pachitalk!

I am sure someone will be along shortly with some ideas. My suggestion you have already done with cleaning the coin sensor and rails.

If it works with the door open but not closed it acts like maybe a wire is getting pinched in the door. Check the wires by hinges or a bare one that is shorting when the door is closed.Check the terminals that might be getting pulled on when you shut the door.

Thanks for the welcome, everyone...and thanks for the info, yose.

We've checked for wires and there don't appear to be any getting pinched.

As long as we pour enough coins in with the door open to build up lots of credits, we can close the machine up and it works.

Only errors out when a coin is put in afterward.

Did you check that all the connections are secure. I think this is what Yose was referring to about terminals getting pulled when the door closes.

Yes I still think it's a loose connection somewhere on the door .Make sure all the terminals that snap together for the wires are tight and there are no bent pins inside those terminals.Make sure the ribbon cables are tightly snapped together too.Trouble shooting takes awhile sometimes when tracing wires, but it is usually an easy fix.

It's me again.I have been thinking about this problem. The error code E-O IS A RAM ERROR. The machine needs a full reset useing the small key on the power supply. If you have a small key, here are the steps to do a full reset. #1turn machine off #2 turn reset key to right #3 turn machine back on. #4press reset button to set odds 1-6, 1 is easy to 6 hard there might be a small led display on inside of door to show #'s or on outside led display to show #'s being set.#5 once odds are set press and hold spin knob down 5 seconds and turn small key left.Tha machine should re boot and be ready to play . The normal error codes are H-E HOPPER ERROR H-J HOPPER JAM C-E COIN ERROR C-J COIN JAM I hope this helps . By the wat WELCOME TO PACHITALK.

Correction on odds reset 1 is hardest to 6 easiest sorry. And if you don't have a key to reset you can open power supply and carefully replace key with a toggle switch, just make sure machine is unplugged when doing this,or

Hello, I have a King Pulsar machine. king pulsar 3.jpg An E-0 error code means a token is jammed. The only way I can get a E-0 code is to stop the token at the coin sensors. king pulsar 1.jpg I believe this is where your problem is. For some reason with the door closed your tokens are getting hung up or slowing down at these sensors. This is something you are going to have to figure out why. The sensors are mounted to a green circuit board. The circuit board is secured with one screw. Check and make sure it is tight. I'd clean the sensors also. Use a Q-Tip and window cleaner, be gentle. Check both ends of the 5 red wire harness that plugs into the door and circuit board.
To clear the E-0 code without loosing all the credits push the red button on the power supply. king pulsar 2.jpg
