    Question Vintage Pachinko (Bennet, NE)

Anyone going after this one in Nebraska from PT?

I'm interested (close to me) and don't want to step on any friendly toes.

I have been watching that Hokoku. Seems like a cool machine. Good luck to you. (I won't be bidding.)

I have a similar one, mine cost $103. Very unusual jackpot, the balls line up at the top of the playfield and dump by a trapdoor. The ball hopper has been modified on the one you are looking at, but a great deal...hope you win it!

There is a large notch cut out of the back of the top ball hopper. I looked at mine...it has a notch in the same place, but shallower. Very cool machine. I like any vintage that is out of the ordinary.

Now can someone tell me what it is?

Year, Model type, place in history etc?

Otherwise.. <sigh> I guess I'll just have to do my own research...

Year just guessing as I have yet to see one like it. I want to say 75-76.

It is a Hokoku. Full gauge machine. (or W type as mopar stated. )

    Congrats on the purchase.

Also I didn't notice this till now. It has the original key to the lock!

    Yes, and the 'manual'.

But even better, 19lbs of balls.

How many do you think 19lbs works out to?

Now why the hell would a single shot machine need 2-3000 balls I wonder?

Will scan anything you want when I get it. My pleasure.

500 balls weighs almost exactly 6 lbs, so there are a little over 1,500 balls in 19 pounds, assuming the sellers weight accurate is precise and not just a rounded number or a guess.

I run about 1,500 balls in all of my Model B machines so that I don't need to refill he upper hoppers so frequently.
