Did the "Hunger Games" trilogy - Loved them. Doing the "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" trilogy now. I am using a Kindle and getting ebooks from the library. (Have to find ways to save money these days). But my fav is and will always be Frank Herbert.

I really enjoy the police procedure/court procedure/whodunnit style novels.

Some of my favorite authors are: William Bernhardt (Ben Kincaid series that's also a bit funny); John Lescroart (Dismas Hardy series); David Baldacci (deals a lot with Washington, DC); Michael Connelly (Harry Bosch series); Harlan Coben; Robert K. Tanenbaum; Philip Margolin; Dan Brown; Brad Meltzer; Richard Doetsche; John Grisham

The funny thing is that I used to read a bit when I was in my teens, but stopped reading until... Last year. My girlfriend loves book stores, so I ended up buying a couple of novels last year. Since then, the television is only turned on two nights a week (Mondays for American Pickers and Saturdays for PBC broadcasting of BBC America) and we read every other night. That's how I also spend my lunch hour at work: Door closed and reading. I'm finding that it relaxes me more and is GREAT to escape reality. I also realized that most of the shows on television are crap anymore. :-)

My all time favorites are probably the M.Y.T.H. Adventure books by Robert Asprin.

I have to agree with this. Never read his books when I was younger. Now I'm a huge fan. Just finished reading book five of the Dark Tower series and am looking forward to book six.

Also I'm a big Michael Crichton fan. I read Jurassic Park when the movie came out and realized how much better the book was compared to the already great movie.

Other notable books are Ender's Game, Game of Thrones series and J.R.R. Tolkien's Hobbit series.
