    Exclamation Unknown voice

Hello all, as you probably figured out I’m new to pachinko.I just received a SANYO super sea story, when I plugged it in it started saying something in a Japanese female voice (extremely loud) over and over and will not stop. I obviously have no idea what it means. I think it may be an error.Any help on this would be appreciated.

It means the hopper is out of balls and you need to refill the back hopper

Thanks for the reply. Well I guess it must be a bad sensor. I filled the hopper and it is still saying it. Any ideas?

Did you try shooting some balls?
My Sea Story does something similar, and only stops when a ball goes into the center pocket

Is the ball shut off in place. It's a clear peice of plastic with two tabs on it that sticks into the ball track and has a spring tensioner on it ,about 4 inches to right of hopper.Lift it out of the ball track so the balls can go into the ball counter mechanism. That should clear the error.Oh and welcome to pachitalk.

Did you shoot a ball into the center pocket to see if it stops?
The error sounds very similar to the one I get on mine, it does not happen often, maybe 1 out of 20 times that I turn it on

    How did you fix it?

I think the error code 2 in the video is a ball jam in the counter mech. It's the little motor about half way down the right side in the black shute. sometimes you can tap on the shute and it will unjam a ball.Try that.A strong magnet pulled up and down the shute can unjam it too.

Tried taping. Took every ball out. After all the balls were out it flashed 1,2 and 3. I reloaded them and still flashed 2. I will try again tomorrow. Thanks for all your help.

I have a voice on a similar machine that advises me there are too many balls in both payout trays. I've figured out that it knows this and trips the alarm when the upper tray fills, the balls divert to the lower tray, and then finally the chute that delivers them backs up. Maybe you have a ball or balls stuck between the two front trays in the chute somewhere?

Does the bottom tray fill as it should after the upper tray fills?

I probably won't be able to help much, but its usually something simple..Its just hard sometime figuring these things out over the internet, but I'm sure we'll be able to get it going sooner or later..

The videos are great, but one thing that may also help would be to post a few clear pictures of the whole front and back of the machine..Sometimes when we can just stair at the whole thing we can spot little things that may look out of place..

Plus since I'm not sure anyone has said it yet in this thread.. make sure to check all plugs and connections..you be surprised at how many things have been fixed by just reseating a plug!!

I have a manual for a newer model sea story and it says that error 2 is lower tray full. You might have a jam of a duff sensor in the lower tray. If you shot balls to weak, so it doesn't make it to the playing field. Do they go to the lower tray ok? Its probably something stuck behind the lower front panel or a sensor lead been knocked out of its socket

your vid says that you triped the ball dump and dumped all the balls from the back...

when the ball dump is dumped it is above the jackpot motor.. so even when a machines is dumped there are still balls inside it..

i dont ever recomend this but ya might consider dumping the balls again... then slowly role the macines upside down.. as you roll it over you should hear balls moving.. try to locate them and get them ALL out..

I just did a repair in a newer machines that had a little gold ball jamed in the payout mech and was causing them machine to not pay..

to get it out i had to role it over and then hold the ball dup open and i turned it upright again to get the balls to back up and then threw the dump chute..

sound like your problem might be a bad sensor but this might help as well??

    just my two cents..

as stated above a few good pictures would help... your vid is good but to quick and to dark for detail

    good luck and

Right, Done some testing on my Super Sea Story, and yes, The voice is saying empty lower tray. Same playback as yours, Also flashs 2 on the back.
if you open up the fron tof the machine, The sensor is on the right hand side on the door.

You might have a ball stuck in the channel, or a faulty sensor or a damaged wire some where between the sensor and processor.

Here are some pics of the sensor on mine and location. Note thought, my frame is a newer version.
