Computer Great White has arrived!!!

My Computer Great White has arrived at my office. Mopar did an excellent job packing it, however UPS still was able to do some minor damage. First some pictures:

I have not unpacked the stand yet. Mopar took it apart so we could ship it flat and save a little on shipping. The package appears to be in good shape though so I do not forsee any issues with the stand.

Ok now for the problems. The inner piece of glass broke on the top left corner. Not a big deal, easily replaced.

A bracket broke loose on the bottom of the machine that attaches the machine to the stand. Fortunately it did no cosmetic damage to the outside of the machine so again easily repaired.

I was able to test the machine and it is scoring and operating properly. However a part of the shooting mechanism was lying loose in the machine and I need to know how to re-attach it.

The only other broken piece is minor and an easy fix. It is the just a suspended ball that helps keep the balls fed to the shooter mechanism in single file. I have both pieces though and should be easy to repair.

I am very happy with the machine, and cannot wait to get it cleaned up and set up in my game room. I would really appreciate advice on repairing the shooter mechanism.

You know the more I look at it, it looks like the lever that lifts the ball to be shot. Mopar will be better able to help. Sent you a PM also.

I looked over the part and I think you are right. It does appear to have broken off anything. It probably just came loose during shipping. I can probably figure it out myself but would love some instructions if someone has experience with this.

i agree with teddy.. the small nub (not the weight or the dog leg) would come up from underneath the shot loader and then the dog leg is moved as you pull the lever down. the weight will be all the way to the right of the cabinet. I might have just confused you worse

could you get a more pics of the cabinet, side view is all i really need.. i kinda like the idea of wall cab that isNT just flat.

I played several games on it. It is a lot of fun. It really ranks right up there with my Arrangeball. It also seems to interest my coworkers more. They were lined up for a turn on the machine. Competing for the high score. In fact I made about $5 in quarters!!! So I guess it is already paying for itself.

There are two really good videos on this machine done by Mopar.

It is a pachinko machine with a computer board placed in it before they got to exotic with the new ones. It is sealed like an arrangeball and you drop your quarter in and it lets you have so many balls depending on the setting you choose. when you drop a ball in any of the tulips or other pay pockets it gives you a set amount of balls and then advances your score ten points. After you get to 90 it gives you a free game at one hundred and every hundred after till you reach nine free games. That is the max for these machines. I scored 2200 on the shark machine and it took a damn long game to get their. What is nice is that their is an end to a game fairly soon usually like an arrangeball. The Great White is probably the prettiest one of about a half dozen I have seen. They do not come up often and are great for an arcade as they take money and pay in free games.

I just watched the video again myself and noticed another issue. When a quarter is deposited, the machine currently is only giving one set of 6 balls (machine is set to seven) instead of three sets of balls to start with. Is this possibly a setting on the game?

Well as I remember it it used to only drop two once in awhile. I openned it up and it was hanging up on the inside where the teeter totter is.

I will check on it tomorrow. I put it in the parts room to keep it safe and wasn't thinking about the parts department closing earlier than sales. I am locked out and cannot get to the machine!!!
