Angry Need help with E-0 error code on Planet 999 Yamasa machine

I have a Yamasa Planet 999 machine and am getting an error code E-0. The manual says push the button at the token slot. I have done that. I also removed the inside token receptor to clear any jams, reset the hopper and did a full reset procedure. Can anyone give me instructions on how I might get this machine to work again. Thanks for any help you can provide.

E-0 is a token jam error code. Yamasa uses a rail type coin mechanism and at the end of the rail are two sensors, ( two black u-shaped sensors), this is where your problem is. If the token does not pass through these two sensors properly you will get a E-0 error code. I would remove the coin mechanism, there is only one screw to remove, and it will slide right out. Check and make sure the token passes through the sensors without getting stuck or slow down. Check the groove that the token rides in. The sensors may need cleaned. Use a Q-Tip and window cleaner, be gentle. Check the connections for a bent or discolored pin.

The only way to clear an E-0 error code is to do a full reset. This procedure must be done exactly or it will not reset.
    1. With the machine on, turn it off at the power supply. (Probably a toggle switch.)
    2. Turn the reset key on the power supply to the right.
    3. Turn the power supply back on. (the toggle switch)
    4. Set your odds, 1-6.
    5. Hold down on the spin lever. (approx. 5 seconds)
6.Turn the reset key on the power supply to the left.

Your machine should be reset now.
The button under the coin acceptor only pays what credits are shown on the credit meter. It does not clear any jams.

If the problem of getting a E-0 error keeps occurring. I would guess you have a bad coin sensor.

Yes, I tried that. I also removed the coin receptor inside the machine and the plastic chute. There are no token jams that I can find. Have reset the hopper as well and still unable to resolve the problem. Thanks for your suggestion.

Did the problem just start after a while or has it been this way since receiving the machine.

The problem started after using the machine for about 2 weeks. I have been able to clear previous error codes but for some reason this one is giving me a problem.

Check the connections at the token accepter and make sure they are clean and not bent pins in the terminals . Check the tokens and see if some might be bent or magnetic, they can set off an error.Check all the terminals to the credit counter , and the credit payout button and make sure it's not stuck. It should be an easy fix because it has been working.Usually just cleaning or reseating connectoins fixes thr problem.

Thanks for all the help you have provided in trying to fix my machine. I have determined that the problem is with the sensor in the coin acceptance mechanism. Does anyone know where I can buy parts for the machine?
