OK, here's the back story on this machine. I went to pick up a vintage from a guy on the East side of town. He tells me he has a parts machine for it that he would throw in with mostly the same front parts but but been stripped on the back already. I'm like, sure, sounds like a great deal(about $30 for both), I'll take it! Next thing I know, he tells me he has another machine that lights up but the electric shooter doesn't work, and will throw it in if I want it...The "broken shooter" machine is the Lucky Cat. So I take it all home, and figure I'll clean up the hanemono. I get it mostly clean and plug it in - the shooter works and I think what a dummy. Then I finish up a few things and take it inside, plug it in, and the shooter doesn't work! I think, crap, maybe he was right or something came loose on the way into the house. I check all the cables, plug it back in, and it works again! It took me a bit, and I have not seen this on any other machines yet, but the whole deal is that is has a polarized AC input on this machine and the plug installed on it was not. If you plugged it in backwards the shooter would not work.
Bought a polarized plug, fixed it up a bit more, and whallah, working pachi!The only thing not original on this machine is one of the lighted tulips(it is a little different than the original on the right). Someone along the line had replaced it but not wired it in because the plug did not match the original. I cut it and tap soldered it in so now it lights up as it should.

So basically free early hanemono that wasn't really broken. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
