In great working condition, this is a Japanese Pachinko machine similar to our slot machines in the US.
I'm not sure how it really is played. We just loved lighting it up and letting guests play however they wanted.
A great conversation piece at parties or great for a man cave bar or sporting area!
We mounted it on plyboard so it stands like a slot machine but this also can be mounted onto a wall.

I have, thanks Card Shark, but the board is in a pretty poor state.
I played that machine when it was new(ish) in Japan and the colours (board, frame parts) were much more vibrant. This one has seen far too many days in the sun I'm afraid.
If I add shipping to Illinois, I'm looking at a near $200 machine, which this isn't in this condition.
There is always another machine around the corner...
