what have i been up to? well that's a really big secret...
but contrary to rumours it has nothing to do with a sheep a nun and 3 midgets..

only 2 midgets thank you very much...

the company i work for is launching a new cruise ship in the next few days, and the all our collective energy is being put into finalizing that..

WOW SID BUILDS SHIPS??? (well quicker then BBS's Game room) no.. but Sid does a lot of things that help with the said daily running of the cruise ship..

i hope to be back soon...

seems like the one i rember was some what smaller, and wood??? but i am geting older, so i might be mistaken...

its quite funny actually,

I was actually Shanghai'd

the vessel started its maiden voyage on May 2nd, this meant that may 1st was a busy day making ready the last arrangements for the departure of the ship
i spent most of May 1st on the ship, and went early on May 2nd to help with the last minute preparations.

the guests arrived at 5:30pm. as i was about to leave the boat to go to the office, my boss says where do you think your going
i told him to the office.. he replied no your not... your staying onboard until tomorrow. so i took a cab home to get a change of clothes.. and i tagged along..
next day rolls around, i was expecting to leave with the afternoon flight... i was advised by the powers that be... that i will stay for another night..so im expecting to go back on Friday..

The island we Visit on Friday has no airport and with my luck no Ferry on that day.. (not that i was keen on taking a 12 hour ferry ride but anyway) so i had to stay on one more day Saturday.
Saturday the boats in Turkey (Kusadasi) which means its too much of a pain for me to disembark customs clearing and all that... so i am ok'd for Sunday... I called the office this morning to arrange my flight for Sunday night... and i ask the girl in reception to talk to my boss and ask him what time he wants me back ( i was hoping for the late flight on Sunday as i have an uncle that lives in Rhodes) she talks to my boss, and he says to forget about sunday and i should just stay on the boat...

so here i am stuck on a 5 star Mega Yacht cruising the aegean sea, in a private cabin, being fed, and the grog flows a plenty... all that is asked in return is for me to take a few pictures..

i think i lucked out on this one...
