Ok I have hooked up the front of the frame connected the large pink cable and i get all the lights on the frame working to the sound of the game, and the chance button also lights up,,,

I don't have the knob on the front that shoots the balls up and around?
the speakers are still the ones that were attached to the board see pics on 1st page..

I was kindly donated a few balls so dropped them in from the top but game doesn't seem to register them... I was also leant the dongle but I cant' see anywhere to plug that in..

At the moment its an impressive light show... which isn't what I was after... the blue frame that goes on the back which channels the balls from top to bottom doesn't fit correctly.. not sure where to go from here...

    Anyone wanna buy it... Arrrgggghhh!!!

Compare the frame to my pics, I don't think you have the payout board or the cr board. Also, I don't think the sun pack (plastic surround)will close proplerly till you remove the speakers and the psu board.
Follow the wires back from the auto play box to the circuit board and see how they are connected. you might find the start pockets have been disconnected. I'll try to get some more pics of my frame at the weekend

I don't think that frame is complete. No matter what you put in it, Unless it has the frame cpu and the cr board. Its not going to do anything.

    FRAME

Make sure your frame is complete, Even without a shooter knob you still need all the other pieces.

Start with the frame mounted in the wooden frame and the sun-pack open, Leaving just the empty space where the cel goes, You should have just two leads there.

Remove speakers and PSU from your cel. The PSU is the large circuit board on the top right on the back, Unplug the power to it and the pink lead,

Fit the cel into the frame and close the lock tabs. Connect the 2 pink leads at the top.

You should be able to close the sun-pack and lock it closed using the 3 tabs, 2 at the top, 1 down the LH side.

Fit the PSU on to the frame at the bottom right. It is held in place by the white clip in the middle.
You should be able to plug the pink lead back in.

The white lead next to it goes to the board to the right, That controls all the frame functions.
There is the other pink socket to take the loom from the cel.

Above this on the RH side is the CR board where the dongle goes and the payout motor.

Underneath the frame CPU board there should be a little expansion board.

Then a lead from this to the LH side, this plugs into the shooter knob circuit board located under the PSU

Do you have all these different circuit boards and are they connected like these in the picture???

On you cel, Look at the circuit board on the bottom with all the different colour plugs.

Do all the sockets and plugs match in colour?

Have any of these wires been cut or joined to the little control box?

Looking back at your pics Something looks strange to me.

Can you post an image of the front of the frame,
I think you have been sent a Sankyo Victory frame and not a Sankyo Lumina frame, Judging by the payout shoot and the frame parlour connections, Also that PSU is a Victory one, Not a Lumina. But a picture of the front will confirm this

If you do keep it there are plenty of people who can offer advice.
If you were closer, You could drop the cel off to test it in one of my frames. and get the extra wiring from the control unit removed,
