I ordered a "Scandel fruit of Nao Oikawa" pachinko machine from Frank at CustomPachinko.
The Problem is my wife just had her hours cut in half and she lost her health insurance as well.
She is not likely to get her hours back for a long time, if ever, due to cutbacks.
We have been struggling to make ends meet and this past week sold her car.

The Pachinko machine costs $425 and comes with all the stuff Frank normally sells with it.
We paid a 50% deposit that Frank said he will return if someone else buys the machine from him.

So if you want a mature theme Pachinko machine this is a good choice.

Man the sucks, sorry about that. I know when they stuck an overtime ban on at work it really dropped the pay packet. So much so that I missed out on many things. Sold the laptop and down graded the car.

Hope things pick up again soon. Good luck with the sale. It's a good price for a 2009 machine with such a interesting theme.

Thanks, yeah it really bites and it also came at a bad time as I'm still out of work.
The economy is supposed to be improving so hopefully we will see some of that soon.
We have also sold most of my wife's gym equipment, still a few things left to sell tho.

It might be worth noting that this is the only one of these machines Frank will have.
He didn't order any others, nor has anyone else.

Sorry to hear of the cutbacks.I know the feeling as I have been unemployed for 2 years .Thank goodness my wife is still working.I wish I could help but fun money just isn't there right now .Good luck with the sale .Hopefully this economy can get back on track soon and we can all recover.

Thanks yose, I hear ya about being out of work for a while. Plus I have to take care of my
87 year old aunt and take her to doctors appt's etc...
It makes it tough to look for work when she's always going to the doctors.

I sure hope the economy improves soon.

Economy is hurting everyone. I wish I was in a position to take over your sale. I think that would be a cool machine. I just bought a JAWS machine and then had to pay my Federal Taxes (Ouch!!!). Things are a little tight at the moment. When is the machine due to arrive, maybe there will be enough time for my finances to improve to be able to step in.

It's due in sometime in June or possibly July.
I know it hasn't shipped from Japan yet and that is a 6 week journey so
the earliest it would be here is mid June if it shipped in the container today.

It is a very cool looking pachi, very unusual and will likely be the only one
that will be here in the US.

If you find that you can get it by all means let me know.
I'm just trying to get my deposit back from Frank which was
1/2 the price of the machine.

I hear you there. We get brutalized by our insane property taxes every year.
Which right now is 1/3rd of my wife's income!
Thankfully I have that sorted out. Because in this state if you are over 1 month
late they just attach a lien to your house and after 2 years they can foreclose on you!

Our federal taxes aren't too bad since we aren't making much money and my investments
are in the toilet.

Im sorry for you too Steve C. I feel soooo lucky that I have a solid job but these days you never know!! I would be interested in the take over but if I bring one more Pachinko Machine home my wife will leave me. We have to fix our truck that was hit by a driver with no insurance and a dog that needs a tumor removed from his leg. Had to pay a grand in taxes this year too! Daughter is too old to claim as a dependent since she is working and on her own. Ugh...

Hopefully Frank will make an exception for you?!

Thanks Microbus99, I know how tough it is. So much going on with everyone.
Frank gave me 3 options, pay for the rest of it, lose the deposit or get someone else to buy it.
I see his point, he did have to get it just for me, my wife practically losing her job isn't his fault.

I'm hoping someone on here will want it even tho it's a mature theme pachinko.
If not we have not decided whether we will lose the $212.50 deposit or come up with
another $212.50 to get it.

We also had several machines on order from Ren at Comatsu Trading but that has been resolved.

I'm hoping the "you know what" will stop hitting the fan so often.

Well if you decide you want it, let me know and I'll see what I can work out with Frank.
Basically he's going to want a $212.50 deposit with the balance due when the machine comes in.
The animatronics look pretty cool and I think it would be a lot more fun than a Yellow Cab.
You might be able to get it a bit cheaper as he is in NJ and if you picked it up you could save
on the shipping if you are close enough.

While I can't have a mature themed machine in my house due to my daughters, if someone else wants to take this machinge in lieu of another you ordered thru Frank, I am in a position where I could get another machine. Just wanted to throw another avenue out there.
