I remember i used to watch these 'How it's made' videos late at night on some obscure channel over here

they would have all sorts of things, like guitars, fridges, laminate flooring, everything and anything, all really interesting stuff in short videos




I just googled and found the website

Aha!! thank you, that explains a lot, I used to get Quest with Freeview, then we changed the Freeview box and now I can't seem to get 'Quest' or 'CITV' or some other channels.

I'm thinking I may need to go back to my old one, as no amount of re-tuning, auto, manual or tinkering will make it receive those channels and I'm not in the best signal area...and I miss the programmes on Quest!!

Try either a factory reset of your box or perform a relearn cycle with the aerial disconnected, then another one with the aerial plugged in

I've seen this episode before. Very cool. Though I like the male narrator voice better than the female voice. I guess that is the difference between the discovery and science channel how its made.

I've got this one saved on my PVR box from when it was on 'Quest' in the UK, there's another episode where they show how a Stern Lord of the Rings pinball machine is made which is also worth a watch.

Talking about the narrators I think that it's a local thing, when it's shown over here we have a different (male) narrator to the ones you get on the US showings that are on YouTube.

I personally have never heard the female narrator. All the ones I watch always have the male narrator.
