Received My Vintage Machine Yesterday

Yesterday I finally received my old Pachinko machine (E-Bay Item number: 8175923208) - what a mess! It was packed in foam peanuts, and they were everywhere throughout the machine. Needlesstosay, the machine had no chance of working until it was completely cleaned. I spent a couple hours disassembling the machine to get all the white crud out of it. When I put it back together, it was working almost perfectly. It still misses a payout ocassionally and has to be reset in the back. I am certain I will be able to figure out what is sticking and correct it before long. There is also a wiring diagram for lights, but I haven't tried to figure that out at all yet. There is also a lever that closes a contact that I assume is a low hopper light, but I have not been able to figure out what makes the lever work yet.
While the machine is not perfect in appearance, the playing field is pretty nice as is the front of the machine. However, inside there are a lot of metal parts with rust and corrosion, and the rear of the plywood in the back of the machine is delaminated somewhat at the edges. In spite of these shortcomings, it is a nice machine which should last for many years if kept out of moisture and kept clean.
