    I can set them up as long as we have a reasonable timescale ( I usually have to accommodate 2 different time zones )

    I could limit it to one bet each only, but it would be difficult to gauge when to close the bets as obviously any creeping up of the auction price at an early stage would benefit late betters, and that is something beyond control, so not sure if bets based on auctions would work in practice,

    but I'll give it some thought for future fun bets

    Just a thought, logistics might be an issue. However seeing that it is not real money, it would all be in fun and no harm would be done. I was thinking the bets should close out early in the auction. Otherwise you could just wait to see the bidding action before committing to your bet. I would certainly limit it to one bet per member.
