    Default Wooden Pinball

I acquired a table top wooden pinball(price was right). Not a pachinko, but looks like a neat little toy!

Nice, the pattern on it reminds me of those old 'lindstrom' bagatelles

I just got in one that is very similar. I ordered it on eBay. Mine has a Baseball theme. It arrived last night. Price was definitely cheap enough. However, I just opened it today and have to say I am a little disappointed in it. I think I paid $16 plus $5 shipping. The first thing I noticed is it is new not an old toy like I was expecting. It had a sticker on the box the showed retail price was $10. I will try to post a few pictures later. It is definitely not the best quality but I figure it will look kind of neat on the bar (whenever I get the bar built). I will be curious what yours is like when you get it.

I paid $11 for mine plus shipping(so about the same as yours). I bid 1 cent over the last bidder and won.

I am sure you received yours by now. What are your thoughts? Mine isn't very playable, I just have it out as decoration.

It's playable, and it makes the high pitched tink tink of noise as the balls strike the pins, but you have to manually hold back the rest of the balls if you want to shoot them one at a time. Otherwise, it's like a little accessory for the room that someone could play if the were bored.

I have to do the same thing (holding back balls in order to shoot one). It's nice looking, probably will just set it on the bar when I finish it.

I am certainly not upset about it considering what I payed. However, I am not sure I would recommend it to anyone unless they are just looking decor or a conversation piece. Not something I would play.

Not the same, but I got this about a year ago on eBay for about $35.Lindstroms gold star 003.jpgLindstroms gold star 006.jpgLindstroms gold star 005.jpg I haven't found a marble who's size and weight work well, maybe the spring is too weak. Doesnt really matter, it is going to hang on the wall in my gameroom anyhow.

Cool machines. Way over-priced in my opinion.

Definitely not priced to sell quick. They are waiting around for someone that can't do without it. Won't be me either

Have you negotiating with them? A lot of times I find the fun in buying at antique shops is the negotiations.
