Any advice on what to look out for and how to play?

    congratulations on your first pachinko!!

I think you got a really good deal on that one

Okay, lets see if we can get you started on your Pachinko Adventure,

Here is a link to a guide for Indiana Jones, this one is really useful and informative, as it is written in English by one of our members and takes you through your machine, explaining the parts and terms, so you can see what everything does and it even explains how to play pachinko

(I wouldn't worry about the section on taking the cell out though, as that's only relevent if you are going to be putting another game into the pachinko frame)

    Welcome Aboard
    from me and the girls

    Let me see begins tips!!!
    1) make sure you have something behind the machine to collect the spent balls.
    2) make sure the machine is stable
    3) before loading balls in the back ball tank, Make sure the gate is open and the payout motor ball dump is closed.

Looks like you got at least 1000 balls from the ad and a standard cr bypass dongle. Thats fine, If you ever want to wall mount the machine or put it in a cabinet, Invest in a daverob dongle.

Have fun, and we are the site that never closes. If you have a problem or need any help, just ask. Some one will reply sooner or later

Wow, thanks for the link to the guide. Didn't think there would be so much info on this machine available so that's great. Having a good read now.
Have been watching a few videos of pachinko on youtube and one thing I don't quite get it that have seen people putting cash notes into the machine to get the ball bearind to play. Is this likely to be the case with one that has been privately owned or can they be set to free play? Haha should really of asked the seller these questions but this is a total impulse buy for me. Still looking forward to getting the machine though

You have just got the machine its self, None of the extensive parlour equipment, No need for note readers and ball dispensers. Not unless you really really want to But the shipping cost from Japan are huge

Just load balls by hand into the front hopper and turn the shooter to play. Refill the front manually when empty
If you want to dispense balls to the front hopper at the press of a button, then you will need a daverob dongle.

Make sure when you pick it up you get all the balls' as they will be worth what you have paid for the machine.
If you get what was in the picture, I reckon about 1,500 at least.
Ask if there is a key? the old Steve machines used to come with one.
A key is not needed to play the machine but they are hard to get hold of.
It's just my opinion but if you have 1,500 balls and a key
Then you have just got the machine for free
Have fun with your new toy.
    And welcome to pachitalk.
    P.S. Its free play.

Well got the machine home but have only had about 20 mins play before I hate to go to work. All seems good though and got an insane ammount of balls with it! haha
Am gonna play some more when I get home 2night but can anyone explain what the aim is with the bonus rounds though as I didn't understand. Am I trying to get the ball into the bottom hole or still into the one above the skull that triggers the slot machines on the screen?

The main idea is to shot for the start pocket, Which makes the reels spin and payout 3 balls, Your odds of matching numbers will be listed on the cel normally 1:319 or such like,
Be warned, If you get 2 matches, The machine will go in the reach, This can be short or a long video sequence, When the numbers do match, Its Fever Time (Well this is a Sankyo machine) Then all hell breaks loose. Depending what number you match on fever will depend on what happens next, On most of my machines, if the number is blue you will get 100 spin high probabilty mode, If red numbers, The high probabltilty of another fever round soon. Also the screen or video might be a different colour, I can't tell you more as I don't know this exact machine.
