I thought the 'gold' one was a rare one?? That it was a special edition version(s) only made for the premiere??

The gold as in the one from Arby's collection that now resides with Compirate and is the only gold one we actually know exists in members collections,

The Real Rare Gold Yellow Ccab Pachinko

I've seen a few in 'yellow' frames though
I was offered a yellow framed one a few years ago but declined

According to Ren at Comatsu Trading the Gold frames were common. They recycle these machines and see a lot of them.
So while you probably couldn't buy one in Japan now as it's too old the gold frames were common.
It makes sense because it's a gold frame for yellow cab.
The other frames don't really work for the theme in a Parlor and it would be like using a black frame for
    Sea Story.

They probably mostly just used the yellow frame, as shown on the parlour promo stuff??

I have seen quite a few in the 'yellow' frame and it compliments the machine well,

The 'gold' one is yellow underneath
