My first modern machine. A little help getting her going please

new sankyo2.JPGnew sankyo1.JPGnew sankyo3.JPGhi all. I have 21 vintage machines but this is my first modern. Any ideas on the year and how do i start to get it going. Im about to put some balls in it and plug it in. Everything seems to be in great shape. No loose wires etc... This machine just fell in my lap today from someone that knows way less than i do, and i dont know much. Machine says silver big slot. Anyone here seen this model or have any info would be great. Thanks

Looks like it's a Sankyo model and I can't find it in the Research Centre, not sure if it's real name is 'Big Slot', I have found references to it as 'CR Fever Casino' too but again it's not showing in the Research Centre.

It's looking to me like the 'FF' Sankyo frame and that was used between 1996 to 1998, so that helps to put a date to it, but I can't find a Game List for that particular frame, so can't confirm the machine name.

strange post for me to read..

befor i found Pachitalk i bought a machine in that same frame.. it was my first morder as well.. It did not take me long to relize that i had little interest in modern machines...

since that machine i have always managed to have at least one mordern machine but i always go back to the basics.. love Vintage Pachinko...

hope you find your mordern machine more intersting then i have found mine..

I have this machine, it's a Fever Casino RX from 1998. Mine is in a red, green and yellow frame. Shouldn't take too much effort to get it running, have some balls in the top and in the tray, & plug it in. One thing to watch for is what looks like a power switch at the top of the machine. If it's in the wrong position the machine errors out until you flip it the other way. If you have any other questions or need help troubleshooting it let me know. Mine still works.

Only pour a handfull of balls in the top tray...and make sure a container is at the bottom! The ball dump is on the right side of the back somewhere, and looks completely different than vintage ball dumps. 21 vintages and 1 modern...you sound like me! Here is my 1st modern what kind of modern is this? There should be a plug on the back that looks like a computer connector (serial port?), get Daverobs card reader emulator!!! you need one and wont be sorry you got one!
