Pachinko Japanese Pinball - $80 south county Unusual

I was over at Brother John's house picking up another pachinko project.. (damn hes geting a nice collection)

he was showing me one of his new vintage machines.. i saw a pocket that i dont think i had ever seen.. its like a tulip in that when in one position balls can only enter threw the top center.. after a ball enters, it flips a tab and allows the balls to enter each side or the top.. once another ball enters then the flap flips and will block side access and only allow top entry.. Kinda Cool..

Seem odd. I personally have never seen them in person.
