Default My First Modern Vintage Pachinko

Got my first modern vintage this afternoon (don't tell the warden (I mean wife) I said "first"!). Its made by Sankyo. Cleanest machine I've gotten yet. Seller came down from $100 to $80 (hope that is a fair price). Came with just under 1000 balls (yes I counted them)...he thought there were around 400. A few issues I hope some members can help me with. Two cut wires at the top near the rear ball tray. The obviously power the two lights at the top of the machine that say "Go". Not sure where they are supposed to go? Wire by door release with female plug not plugged in anywhere. Not sure where that plugs in. Not sure that it is keeping score ...seems to be stuck on "00" but I haven't gotten in to it enough to see what triggers a score or mabe a reset button somewhere? Anyway, I'm having fun with it. The center feature has a man holding an umbrella that spins around the entire time the machine is on. The bottom three pockets trigger the sound and lights. When a ball goes in the left or right bottom pocket the little man holds out his left hand a few times and the lights and sound goes off and a payout of balls occurs. If a ball enters the center bottom pocket the same thing happens but a second little man peeks out behind the man in the center feature. Other pockets just pay out balls...no lights or sounds (maybe the unplugged wire has something to do with that). The machine pays out 7 balls or 15 balls depending on which pocket the ball goes into. Any help with the wire issues is appreciated!
Pictures seem to be waaaaay down.

Welcome to the world of 'Modern', albeit 'early modern'

I have an Early Modern in my collection too, although it's not a Hane, it's still a lot of fun, they really are resplendently loud in colour, does yours also have an ear piercing siren noise too??

    Congratulations!!

Congrats on your Umbrella Man hanemono. The bottom left/right pockets are teasers and will only open the yaku(I think that's the right name) once. The bottom center pocket will open the yaku a few times. Once open, you need to get a ball to the bottom center of the center feature to get it into a fever mode, otherwise it resets and you have to start over. There are several rounds, and the digital counter will add up the # of jackpots through the center feature in each round. Enjoy!

Found this earlier thread that shows where the volume switch is. http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/mode...-hanemono.html Getting familiar with this machine with Pachitalk members help. The counter in mine is working...just didn't know it only works during the fever round (didn't even know what a fever round was!). Replaced a few nails and checking bulbs and wiring. So far, so good.
