    Question whirring sound

I just plugged in my gladiator & played it just a little bit. The machine makes a cycling-type whirring sound (like 'whirrr'...[pause]...'whirrr'...[pause]...'whirrr'... ok, you get the point).
Also, the top hopper sends the balls straight to the bottom hopper without holding any up there.
So, is there anything broken, or stuck shut or stuck open??? Any reset buttons?
Are there any instructions out there for gladiator?
I know that this is a lot to ask, & I appreciate any & all help. Thanks. Russ

Sounds like the ball track release gate is open.

    Question Re: whirring sound

Ok, but the ...whirring...[pause]...whirring...[pause]= what is causing that?
That is what's REALLY concerning me (is it gonna catch fire or what?).
I'm leaving for the airport in about 1/2 hour. I'm be back after next week. Thanks. Any ideas on this stuff? All help is appreciated.

if your really concerned about safety,

you can unplug the machine when you aren't playing it.

Once you reset the ball gate release and load 200-300 balls in the top back ball tray and at least 20 balls into the front ball feed tray, you might discover the noise stops.
