Fuji Resto
Started working on the Fuji Challengeball machine.
Took care of a couple of electrical problems and now have it working. Still having a problem when starting a new game. Once in a while the lights will stay dark while playing until another token is inserted. Maybe a relay hanging up? Hopefully this will get resolved while cleaning, adjusting, etc. during the project.
Game play on this machine is interesting.
Vertical row pays 1 token.
Horizontal row pays 2.
Four numbers in center (6,7,10,11) pay 3.
Side pockets pay 1 token.
Pockets on each side of the gate labeled R, ball returns to shooting tray.
Top, center pocket opens the gate.
Once the gate is open, a ball in the #1 pocket on the gate will close it.
Trick is to open the gate and get balls in the 10, 16, and 7 gate pockets before getting a ball in the number 1 pocket, which will close the gate and also light all the numbers on the matrix, for a payout of 15 tokens.
Getting balls in the gate pockets will also light the corresponding numbers on the matrix, but getting balls in the numbered pockets below will only light the numbers on the matrix, but not the red gate numbers (10,16,1,7) below it.
